For the 3rd time for Lulu & I we will participate to the Paris Sausage Walk but this time it’s gonna be very special!
First… what exactly is it?
The Paris Sausage Walk / Marche des Teckels in French is a huge, joyful gathering of Dachshunds (Teckels) and their humans for a walk through Paris.
And when I say huge, I mean hundreds and potentially thousands of little sausage-shaped dogs together.
The nickname "sausage dog" comes from the Dachshund's wonderfully ridiculous proportions: long body + tiny legs + enormous personality.
The event started in Paris in 2018, inspired by the London Sausage Walk, and has become an annual tradition. With my lulu as Londoner we participate of a lot of Sausage London Walks for Xmas, Halloween, monthly meet up in Hyde Paris Greenwich. Let’s go to the Sausage Walk and Where is happening!
For the first time, the walk is moving from the Seine to the Champs-Élysées. Oui oui the Famous street in Paris! The planned stretch is from the Arc de Triomphe toward Place de la Concorde, with the avenue pedestrianised for the event from 11am to 1pm and it's free
The Charity behind the walkies, supporting Teckels sans Doux Foyers:
The primary aim of the Paris Sausage Walk is to raise funds and awareness for Teckels sans Doux Foyers, an organization that tirelessly provides a safe haven for teckels in distress. Through donations, sponsorships, and merchandise sales, participants contributed to the crucial work of the charity, ensuring more teckels would find their forever homes.
So underneath all the ridiculous cuteness, there's a genuinely lovely animal-welfare purpose.
So… Why this year will be so special?

This October, one very lucky sausage and their human will have the chance to win an unforgettable Luxury Dog Photography experience in the heart of Paris, worth £550.
To celebrate the Sausage Paris Walk 2026, taking place on the iconic Champs-Élysées on Sunday 4th October, E5 Dog Photography team Virginie & Lulu is heading up to Paris Sausage Walk to support Teckels Sans Doux Foyer to offer an incredible prize with every entry helping to support a fantastic dog charity.

Terms & Conditions
The competition is open to international entrants aged 18 or over.
The photoshoot prize must be redeemed in Paris on Saturday 3rd October 2026. The prize cannot be transferred to another date or location.
The winner will be selected at random and contacted via Instagram DM on 30th September 2026.
The competition prize includes the photographs from the E5 Dog Photography luxury pop-up studio session taking place on Saturday 3rd October 2026, one luxury framed 8×10" photograph and one hardcover photobook.
